Established since 1995 to provide drilling fluid services to oil companies and operating especially in the Caribbean chain, Fluid Technology Worldwide Inc. (FTW) has had a rich and proud history, serving many established and reputable global companies.

In 2000, the Independent Cuban Operations of Fluid Technology were initiated and have continued successfully to date. Fluid Technology Worldwide has had a presence in Cuba providing Drilling Fluid Products and Services on a continuous basis. FTW is a proven and committed partner with Cuban operatives and works diligently to enhance and improve operations in all areas.

In June of 2006, MI LLC purchased the remaining shareholdings of Fluid Technology in MI Trinidad Limited.

MUD AND BULK PLANT STATISTICS

In 2011 Fluid Technology Worldwide Inc built a fully integrated mobile mud & bulk plant in Trinidad that was shipped to Cuba by Tug and Barge, which includes:

• 8 x 2,300cu ft Cylindrical steel silos mounted on skids for portability, each silo is 10MT empty
• 2 x 400bbl mixing tanks with intricate jet system for mixing 19ppg mud
• 12 x 400bbl storage tanks with jet system to circulate tanks

Since the commissioning of the mud and bulk plant, FTW has successfully:

• Bulked 10,886 metric tons of barite
• Bulked 741 metric tons of bentonite
• Bulked 500 metric tons of Calcium Carbonate
• Mixed 160,000 bbls of mud
• Mixed 1,600 bbls of 16 ppg spud mud per day
• Mixed 5,600 bbls of 10 ppg polymer mud per day
